vision

In the light of the Disaster Management Act-2012, it will be an active institution whose task will be to include risk reduction in the disaster management program, reduce the vulnerability of the poor and disadvantaged people from the negative effects of disasters, increase knowledge, research and capacity of each part of the disaster management cycle.


aim

DDM will be an active institution in managing different types of disasters efficiently, whose work will be to provide overall support to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief in adopting disaster risk reduction programs, responding efficiently to any disaster and coordinating between the agencies concerned with disaster risk management.
